WHAT WE DO
Drumcliffe is a private investment management firm overseeing portfolios of high-value claims pursued on behalf of the victims of fraud, corruption and abuse of power.
We finance and manage asset recovery and third-party liability claims as well as insolvency actions.
Drumcliffe currently
manages recovery efforts in over 30 countries.
Our employees are some of the most experienced and trusted professionals in this field today.
OUR VALUES
Our aim is to obtain restitution for our clients, while providing investors with above-market returns in an uncorrelated asset class.
Doing Well By Doing Good
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles are at the center of our investment strategy. 100% of our AUM is dedicated to helping victims of fraud, corruption and abuse of power, and we only structure engagements where our clients can benefit more than we do.
Disciplined Due Diligence
High-value asset recovery claims can be complex, and we require a comprehensive understanding of all the underlying issues in a potential claim before investing. At the core of our investment strategy is a disciplined due diligence process that measures risk while identifying promising claims with the potential for asymmetrical returns.
Global Reach
We believe you’re only as good as the company you keep, and our global network of attorneys, intelligence analysts and forensic accountants is second to none. Since our founding we have worked in over 70 countries.

HOW WE INVEST
Drumcliffe uses its capital and expertise to address the persistent, international problem of large-scale fraud and collection risk. This problem occurs in many forms.
Plaintiffs win money judgments, only to realize their adversaries have no intention of paying them. Plaintiffs’ attorneys seldom have the interest or expertise to help their clients collect.
Trustees appointed to liquidate bankrupt companies often lack the financial resources to recover value for creditors, despite the existence of substantial corporate assets that may be illiquid, hidden or disputed.
Countries throughout the developing world are plagued by corruption. Well-meaning administrations wishing to recover the proceeds of corruption are often hamstrung by a lack of resources, international reach and specialized expertise.
Drumcliffe provides working capital and deep domain expertise to recover assets on behalf of our clients. We typically structure our investments in one of two ways:
Enforcing high-value claims on behalf of clients in exchange for a percentage of the assets we recover.
Purchasing high-value, discounted money judgments — in part or in whole — from claimholders having immediate cash-flow needs.
